Innovative Initiative Seeking to Identify Chile’s Main Needs in Terms of Environmental Knowledge

Monday, November 6, 2017

In an unprecedented endeavor for Chile and Latin America, the project “Environmental Knowledge Needs in Chile” invites different people related to the environment (including researchers, scientists, the government, other decision-makers, NGOs and members of the public) to discuss gaps in environmental knowledge in Chile.

Organized by the United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (UNECLAC), the Center of Applied Ecology and Sustainability (CAPES UC) and the Millennium Nucleus Center for Socioeconomic Impact of Environmental Policies (CESIEP), this project aims at establishing the participants’ priorities in terms of environmental knowledge through an online questionnaire that will be used to collect new scientific information that could be used to shape and evaluate environmental public policies. If you are interested in participating, you can do so until Wednesday November 8 at the following link: http://www.animocreativo.cl/web/ .
