Full-time postdoctoral positions are available starting between September 1st 2021 and September 30th 2023 at the Millennium Institute of Oceanography (IMO) to undertake innovative research and to develop questions in three proposed topics within IMO’s larger research lines.
In the framework of the first FONDEQUIP Contest for Major Scientific and Technological Equipment, a group made up of the Millennium Institute of Oceanography (IMO), the University of Concepción, the University of Antofagasta, the Pontifical Catholic University of Valparaíso, and the Austral University of Chile in cooperation with GEOMAR (Helmholtz Centre for Ocean Research in Kiel, Germany) and HADAL (Center for Hadal Research in Odense, Denmark) won competitive funding for a project entitled “Integrated Deep-Ocean Observing System for Research in Geoscience.”
During this week, Youtube channel CNTV Infanil and TV Educa Chile will release a children’s series entitled “Invisible Bugs”, giving children from all over Chile an opportunity to express their feelings, questions, experiences, opinions, and thoughts on the coronavirus pandemic.
Since June 2, the documentary film “Atacamex: Exploring the Unknown” has been available at the platform Onda Media, owned by Chile’s Ministry of Culture, Arts and Heritage.
